After the introductory class, students must come prepared with new songs memorized each week to perform for the other students in class. Required repertoire is drawn from standard voice-instruction pieces from classical, Broadway, and Gospel collections. Beginning students are required to learn songs in Italian, Latin, and English. More advanced students also study pieces in German, Spanish, and French. Through the study and performance of these songs, students develop vocal techniques such as proper breathing, placement, and diction. Classes run in 12 week session, with a culminating Jury evaluating all content  during the final of the 12 classes. The Group Voice class is limited to ten students per session.
